The Liturgical Calendar Library

Welcome to the homepage of the LitCal liturgical calendar library.

The goal of the LitCal project is to produce a general purpose library that is capable of producing the liturgical calendar, or doing liturgical calculations over a variety of liturgical calendars. Due to the newness of this project, the future plans of the library are still in flux, so all that can shown at the moment is a ((Wishlist)) of features, and some preliminary ((Brainstorming)) regarding the underlying technology. Another good place to look at is the blog for the project.

While the exact API is still being figured out, the direction that its going to take is already beginning to take form. Go to the ((API)) page to see what has been defined so far.
