Zoomable Gospel

    What I would like to create is an application in which you could visualize an entire text of a Gospel (or other book in the Bible). Be able to highlight specific verses or sections with different colors. And finally, be able to zoom in to the point where you could read the text.

     This would allow users to visualize the many structures found in these writings. For example, the Gospel of Matthew has five discourses. If you had a view of the entire text with these five discourses highlighted you could see just where they occur and better understand their purpose. With a zoomable application, you could zoom into any of these discourses and read the text. There are many, many other examples various structures in the books of the Bible.

    I think this type of application would be very useful for presentation, teaching, and studying the books of the Bible.
